The Governor of Victoria, His Excellency the Honourable Alex Chernov AC QC and Mrs Elizabeth Chernov, invite you to visit Government House Victoria, one of the nation's largest and most significant historic buildings, this Australia Day.
Visitors are invited to tour the main House, including the Governor's Private Apartments, and view the historical collection, including antiques from the Johnston Collection and artwork from the National Gallery of Victoria.
Visitors are able to buy delicious baked goods from the Country Women's Association, which will occupy the original 19th Century kitchen, whilst the Hopetoun Stables will house former Melbourne Cup champion racehorses from Living Legends.
For the kids, the State Ballroom will have interactive INSIDE the BRICK Lego Play and Hot Shots and Speed Serve will be on offer on the grass tennis courts from Tennis Victoria.
Self-guided tours are available of the gardens and visitors can either bring a picnic or purchase refreshments from one of the stalls to enjoy in the grounds.
Visitors are encouraged to make their way to the Great West Lawn for the flyover from the Royal Australian Air Force Roulettes at 2.00 pm.

House tours: 10.00 am - 4:00 pm (House tour queue closes at 3:00 pm).
Entry is free.
Please present bags to security for inspection prior to entrance.
