The 6th of February 2022 will mark 70 years since The Queen ascended to the Throne. 

The Honourable Linda Dessau AC, Governor of Victoria, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, will host an investiture ceremony for recipients of the Order of Australia Bravery Awards for 2021 in the Ballroom

The Governor and Mr Howard hosted the annual Flag Raising Ceremony to mark Australia Day at Government House Victoria.

On Australia Day, the Governor and Mr Howard hosted a citizenship ceremony in the Ballroom of Government House Victoria. 

This week marked the conclusion of the program of investitures for recipients of Awards in the Order of Australia.

Victorians from many parts of State were honoured this week, as the program of Investitures continued.

This week’s program saw a wide variety of events celebrating great Victorians, acknowledging Victoria’s diverse cultural heritage.

The Governor and Mr Howard this evening hosted a performance by several of Victoria’s renowned Pipe Bands, in the grounds of Government House. 

The Governor and Mr Howard welcomed more Victorians to Government House, as the program of COVID-safe investiture ceremonies continued.

Today, the Governor conducted a ceremony to swear in Professor James Angus AO as the fifteenth Lieutenant-Governor of Victoria. 

This week of Remembrance Day also saw the Governor and Mr Howard host several investiture ceremonies to honour the great Victorians of today. 

The Governor and Mr Howard welcomed Victorians back to Government House in person this week, for investiture ceremonies for Awards in the Order of Australia.
