The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, hosted the Royal Women Hospital Women in Science reception. The Governor received Mr Jim Miller and Mr Michel Masson, Chairman and CEO of Infrastructure Victoria, before receiving Mr Graeme Plumridge and Mr Hugh Roberton, outgoing and incoming Presidents of Melbourne Legacy. Mr Anthony Howard QC led a tour for the cast and creatives of Curious Incident of a Dog in the Night-time.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, visited St Vincent's Hospital, Fitzroy, before, with Mr Anthony Howard QC, hosting the Australian Bravery Association National Conference Reception at Government House.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, received Ms Sue Hampel, Co-President Jewish Holocaust Centre, then Mr John Bradley, Secretary DELWP, followed by Dr Bridie O'Donnell, Inaugural Head, Office for Women in Sport and Recreation. The Governor & Mr Anthony Howard QC then attended the State Funeral of Mr Ronald Walker AC CBE.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council. The Governor then visited Della Rosa Fresh Foods Factory, before receiving the call of Ms Lynley Marshall, CEO of Museums Victoria.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC, welcomed Term 1 participants in the Peace and Prosperity Kitchen Garden Program. The Governor received the call of Ms Claire Spencer, CEO Arts Centre Melbourne and then opened the UIP World Congress of Phlebology. Mr Howard hosted a tour of Government House for members of U3A Ararat.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC, toured Monash Children's Hospital. The Governor then received the call of the Hon. Iwao Horii, Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan and delegation.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, received Mr James Maccarrone, 2018 Victorian Rhodes Scholar. The Governor, as Patron, with Mr Anthony Howard QC, then volunteered at the Old Colonists' Association Victoria. The Governor received the call of Ms Karen Cusack, Health Complaints Commissioner, before attending, with Mr Howard, the Curious Incident of a Dog in the Night-Time.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, met with Mr Tony Ellwood, Director of the NGV. The Governor and Mr Anthony Howard QC then received and hosted a reception for Major General Ido Nehushtan (Rtd), Chairman of the Israel-Australia Chamber of Commerce and Mrs Orna Nehushtan.
