The Governor and Judge Howard attended a performance by The Choir of Hard Knocks at Hamer Hall, and later the Governor officially opened the 15th World Congress of the International Association for the Scientific Study of Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IASSIDD).
The Governor and Judge Howard attended the AFL Pride match at Etihad Stadium.
The Governor received the call of Mr Rimsky Yuen SC JP, Secretary for Justice, Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Judge Howard hosted a morning tea and tour of the State Apartments followed by football on the West Lawn for Tiwi Island school children and their foster parents and mentors. The Governor and Judge Howard hosted a luncheon to welcome international guests for the Indian Film Festival. The Governor officially opened the Melbourne Society of Women Painters and Sculptors Annual Exhibition 2016 in Malvern. HE Mr John Berry, Ambassador of the USA to Australia, arrived to stay at Government House.
The Governor spoke at the Australian Institute of Management Fellow Breakfast. The Governor and Judge Howard hosted a luncheon for the Hon Ted Baillieu, Chair of the ANZAC Centenary Committee, and Mrs Robyn Baillieu. In the evening, the Governor, accompanied by Judge Howard, gave a keynote address at the Committee for Ballarat Round Table Dinner in Ballarat.
The Governor received the call of Mr Khaled Rizk, Consul-General of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and later hosted a luncheon at Government House for PhD students of the Doherty Institute. In the evening, the Governor, accompanied by Judge Howard, attended the Poche Indigenous Development dinner at the University of Melbourne.
The Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council. Later, the Governor and Judge Howard visited the Yakult production site in Dandenong.
The Governor received the call of Mr Andrew Jaspan, Executive Director, The Conversation. The Governor and Judge Howard hosted a dinner for the Melbourne International Film Festival industry representatives.
The Governor and Judge Howard attended the Melbourne International Film Festival Centrepiece Gala at the Comedy Theatre.
The Governor received the call of Mr Jeff Pope APM, Australian Electoral Officer; and accompanied by Judge Howard toured the AgriBio and Sports Precinct at Latrobe University.
The Governor received the call of the Hon. Matthew Guy, Leader of the Opposition; and the call of HE Kyoung-ha Woo, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea. The Governor hosted a Panel Discussion and reception to celebrate trail-blazing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women. Later, the Governor, accompanied by Judge Howard, visited the Jurassic World Exhibition at the Melbourne Museum; and attended the Melbourne Accelerator Program Gala Dinner.
