The Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, received the call of Greg Livingstone, Chair, and Andrew Staite, CEO, The Pinnacle Foundation.
Following this, the Governor received the call of His Excellency, Mr Felix Ulloa, Vice President of the Republic of El Salvador, and His Excellency, Mr Ernesto Dueñas, Ambassador of El Salvador to Australia.
In the afternoon, the Governor hosted an afternoon tea to mark the 125th Anniversary the Old Geelong Grammarians Association, where she delivered an address to mark the occasion.
Then, the Governor received the call of the Honourable Natalie Hutchins MP, Minister for Treaty and First Peoples.

The Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, visited the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, where she met with Professor Kathryn North AC, Director, Professor Melissa Little AC, Chief Scientist, and Professor Enzo Porrello, Director of Stem Cell Medicine, before receiving a briefing and being escorted on a tour of facilities including the Stem Cell Medicine Labs, the Kidney Regeneration Lab, the Heart Regeneration Lab, and the Blood Development Lab.
Following this, the Governor welcomed participants of the Government House Scarecrow Program from Coburg, Croydon and Broadmeadows Specialist Development Schools.
In the afternoon, the Governor, and Professor Glyn Davis AC, met with Jon Faine AM, Vice Chancellor's Fellow at the University of Melbourne, Professor John Murphy, Emeritus Professor of Politics, The University of Melbourne, Professor Philip Mendes, Director Social Inclusion and Social Policy Research Unit, Monash University, and Associate Professor Nell Musgrove, National School of Arts and Humanities, Australian Catholic University, before hosting the fifth session of the Understanding Victoria Government House Discussion Series, ‘”…to each according to [their] needs”? The development of welfare policy 1930s to 1960s.’

The Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, provided Royal Assent before presiding at a meeting of the Executive Council.
Following this, the Governor visited the Broadmeadows ‘Education First’ Youth Foyer, where she met with Laura Mahoney, Interim CEO, Launch Housing, before receiving a briefing from staff and being escorted on a tour of the site by members of the Student Representative Council.
In the afternoon, the Governor received the call of Michiaki Hirose, Chairman, Japan Australia Business Corporation Committee and Tokuro Furuya, Consul General of Japan in Melbourne.
Following this, the Governor met with the Honourable Chief Justice Richard Niall, Chief Justice, the Honourable Justice Andrew Keogh, Principal Judge of the Common Law Division, the Honourable Justice Michael Osborne, Judge of the Trial Division, Supreme Court of Victoria.
Then, the Governor hosted the swearing-in of the Honourable Justice Lisa Hannon and the Honourable Justice Robert Craig as a Judges of the Supreme Court of Victoria.
Later, the Governor received the call of Ridwaan Jadwat, Australian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates.
In the evening, the Governor hosted a dinner on Defence Industry and Advanced Manufacturing.

Continuing a Regional Visit to Greater Shepparton, the Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, participated in a live studio interview with ABC Shepparton.
Following this, the Governor visited the Shepparton Albanian Mosque, where she met with Safet Kutrolli, Secretary, Shepparton Albanian Moslem Society, before receiving a briefing on the history of the mosque.
Then, the Governor visited Kaiela Arts, where she met with Anita Larkin, Art Centre Manager, before receiving a tour of the gallery and workshop.
Later, the Governor visited Shepparton Art Museum, where she met with Danny Lacy, Artistic Director, before viewing the exhibitions and receiving a tour of the back of house operations.
Concluding a Regional Visit to Greater Shepparton City Council, the Governor visited the Museum of Vehicle Evolution, where she met with Geoff Cootes, Chair, before receiving a tour of the exhibits.

Concluding a Regional Visit to Moira Shire Council, the Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, attended a morning tea with local volunteers hosted by Moira Shire Council, where she delivered an address to mark the occasion.
Commencing a Regional Visit to Greater Shepparton City Council, the Governor received a briefing from Councillor Shane Sali, Mayor, and Fiona Le Gassick, CEO, Greater Shepparton City Council, before touring the Shepparton Sports City Precinct.
In the afternoon, the Governor visited the Munarra Centre for Regional Excellence, where she met with Paul Briggs AO, Acting Chairperson, Munarra, before being escorted on a tour and receiving a briefing on operations.
Following this, the Governor visited the Fryers Street Aboriginal Street Art Project.
Then, the Governor visited Kalafatis Fresh Produce, where she met with Jim Kalafatis, Owner, before attending a roundtable with representatives from the agricultural sector across Greater Shepparton and receiving a tour of Kalafatis Fresh Produce.
Later, the Governor visited Princess Park, where she received a briefing on the impacts of the November 2022 flood event in Greater Shepparton, before meeting with local football coaches and players whose facilities were impacted by the flood event.
In the evening, the Governor attended a Civic Reception hosted by Greater Shepparton City Council, where she delivered an address to mark the occasion.
In the afternoon at Government House, students from Gladstone Secondary College visited for a guided tour of the State Apartments and Kitchen Garden.

Commencing a Regional Visit to Moira Shire, the Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, visited the Dharnya Centre, where she met with Robert Nichols, Chairperson, and John Patrick Kerr, CEO, Yorta Yorta Nation Aboriginal Corporation, before receiving a briefing on the history and cultural significance of the site and touring the new facilities.
Following this, the Governor received a briefing from Dr Graeme Emonson PSM, Chair Administrator, Susan Benedyka, Administrator, and Matthew Morgan, CEO, Moira Shire Council.
In the afternoon, the Governor visited the Numurkah Historical Society, where she met with Rosemary Kennett OAM, President, and volunteers, before viewing the 150th anniversary display and participating in a tree planting ceremony at Rotary Park to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the proclamation of the Numurkah township.
Following this, the Governor visited Flavorite Katunga, where she met with Mark Wood, Northern Regional Operations Manager, Flavorite, before receiving a briefing and touring the greenhouse.
Then, the Governor visited Cactus Country, where she received a tour and a briefing on business operations.
Later, the Governor visited Saputo Dairy Australia, where she met with Adam Hardwood, Site Manager, before receiving a briefing and touring the cheese processing facilities.
In the morning at Government House, members of Watsonia Probus Club visited for a guided tour of the State Apartments and Kitchen Garden.

Then, the Governor commenced a Regional Visit to Benalla Rural City, where she met with Councillor Bernie Hearn, Mayor, and Councillor Justin King, Deputy Mayor, Benalla Rural City Council, before receiving a briefing from the Mayor and Councillors.
Following this, the Governor visited LS Precast, where she met with Allen Meiring, General Manager, before receiving a briefing and viewing operations.
Concluding a Regional Visit to Benalla Rural City, the Governor visited Australian Munitions, where she met with Dion Habner, Managing Director, Thales, before receiving a briefing and being escorted on a tour of the facilities.
