Governor’s Performance Series: Michelle Nicolle Quartet

The Governor of Victoria, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, invites you to a special performance at Government House Victoria on Tuesday 21 April 2026.

The free event will feature a performance from the Michelle Nicolle Quartet(opens in a new window). Michelle Nicolle is a multi award-winning jazz vocalist regarded as Australia’s finest exponent of the genre.

Over the past 25 years she has performed at major jazz festivals and clubs throughout Australia and internationally. Michelle’s quartet includes Ronny Ferella on drums, Tom Lee on bass and Geoff Hughes on guitar. 

Taking place in the Ballroom at Government House, it is also an opportunity to experience the spectacular architecture of this historic building. Guests will be welcome to explore the State Apartments at the conclusion of the performance.
