Following this, the Governor, as Patron of the Yarra Riverkeeper Association, met with Janet Bolitho, President, and Meredith Lamb, Executive Officer, Yarra Riverkeeper Association, before receiving a tour of the lower reaches of the Yarra River and a tour of Herring Island Sculpture Park.
Later, the Governor received the call of Lady Southey AC, Patron and Fi Slaven, Chair, Spinal Research Institute.
In the afternoon, the Governor received the welcome call of His Excellency Mr Nicola Lener, Ambassador of Italy to Australia, and Chiara Mauri, Consul General of Italy in Melbourne.

Continuing a Regional Visit of Surf Coast Shire, the Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, visited the Winanglo Housing development, where she was met by Ken McDonald, Committee Member, Winanglo Industry, before being escorted on a tour of the development and meeting with residents.
Concluding a Regional Visit of Surf Coast Shire, the Governor visited the Winchelsea Memorial Grandstand, where she was met by Graham Kenafacke, President, Winchelsea RSL Sub-Branch, before being escorted on a tour of the building and meeting with RSL members.

Continuing a Regional Visit of Surf Coast Shire, The Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, visited Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie, where she was met by Laura Wilson, CEO, Chocolate Destinations Group, before receiving a tour of the showroom and participating in a tasting experience.
Following this, the Governor met with Councillor Libby Stapleton, Mayor, and Robyn Seymour, CEO, Surf Coast Shire Council, before receiving a briefing from Councillors and the Council Executive.
Then, the Governor visited Ashmore Arts, where she was met by Stewart Guthrie, Manager, before being escorted on a tour of the designated art studios on site and meeting with local artists.
In the afternoon, the Governor visited Torquay Community House, where she was met by Philip Beasley, Chairperson, before being escorted on a tour of the building and meeting with members of the Women’s Shed.
Following this, the Governor visited the Torquay Community Men’s Shed, where she was met by Tim Robinson, Vice President, before being escorted on a tour of the shed and meeting with members.
Later, the Governor visited the Australian National Surfing Museum, where she met with Peter Murphy, Team Leader, before receiving a guided tour of the museum.
In the morning at Government House, members of the Swinburne University Migrant English Program visited for a guided tour of the State Apartments and Kitchen Garden.

Continuing a Regional Visit of Colac Otway Shire, the Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, visited Wildlife Wonders, where she was met by Lizzie Corke OAM, CEO and Co-Founder, Conservation Ecology Centre, Wildlife Wonders, before receiving a guided walking tour of the sanctuary.
Following this, the Governor visited Apollo Bay Harbour, where she was met by Nick Polgeest, Director, Apollo Bay Fisherman’s Co-Operative, before receiving a walking briefing on the redevelopment plans for the harbour.
Concluding a Regional Visit of Colac Otway Shire, the Governor visited the Wye River General Store, where she was met by Shaun McKinlay, Venue Manager, before receiving a briefing on the impact of recent flash flooding on the site.
Commencing a Regional Visit of Surf Coast Shire, the Governor visited Cumberland River Holiday Park, where she was met by Don Hislop, Part Owner, and Ram Nunez, Manager, Cumberland River Holiday Park before receiving a briefing on the impact of recent flash flooding on the site.
In the evening, the Governor attended a Civic Reception hosted by Surf Coast Shire Council, where she delivered an address to mark the occasion.

Then, the Governor visited Bulla Dairy Foods, where she was met by Kylie Armstrong, Chief Operations Officer, before touring the factory.
Later, the Governor visited the Gellibrand Water Treatment Plant, where she was met by Shaun Cumming, Managing Director, Barwon Water, and Tim Wiebusch ESM, Commissioner, Emergency Management Victoria, before receiving a briefing on the impact of recent bushfires and touring the facility.
In the evening, the Governor attended a Civic Reception hosted by Colac Otway Shire Council, where she delivered an address to mark the occasion.
