Later, the Governor received Emeritus Professor John Catford, Chair, Latrobe Valley Health Assembly, followed by Mr Jason Mifsud, Executive Director, Aboriginal Victoria.

Accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard QC, the Governor hosted a Reception to launch Made to Order: George Thwaites and Sons, colonial cabinet makers, by Dr Robert La Nauze.

Mr Howard attended the Big Brother Big Sister Breakfast.

Later, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Howard, launched the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra 2018 Season.

The Governor and Mr Anthony Howard QC, hosted a luncheon for Mr Mahendra Siregar, former Chairman of Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM).

The Governor then received the call of Ms Karen Inge, Board Chair, St. Vincent's Institute of Medical Research Foundation Board.

Mr Anthony Howard QC led a tour of the State Apartments for participants of the Peace & Prosperity Garden Project.

he Governor launched the 2017 Annual Scientific Meeting of the Medical Oncology Group of Australia and then received the call of Mr Chris Holtby OBE, Consul-General for Britain.

Later, the Governor received the call of Lady Murray, wife of former Governor, the late Sir Brian Murray.

In the evening, The Governor and Mr Anthony Howard QC attended the Opening Night Gala of the Melbourne International Film Festival.

The Governor and Mr Anthony Howard QC hosted a luncheon in honour of Mr Fan Jinlong, Member of the Standing Committee, Secretary General of CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and members of his delegation.  Later, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Howard opened the Science Gallery Melbourne inaugural exhibition, "Blood: Attract and Repel" at the University of Melbourne.

The Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council and later received the call of Mr Andrew Campbell, Executive Director, Cabinet Office, Dept of Premier & Cabinet and Mr Jonathan Burke, Manager Parliament, Legislation and Executive Council.  Later, the Governor and Mr Anthony Howard QC, attended the Melbourne Accelerator Program (MAPS) Gala Entrepreneurship Dinner.

The Governor received the call of Her Excellency, Ms Lucky Sherpa, Ambassador of Nepal.  Mr Howard led a tour of the State Apartments for Victorian Public Service graduates and trainees.
