The Governor received the call of Professor Sharon Lewin, Director of the Doherty Institute.
The Governor and Judge Howard toured the Melba Support Services in Lilydale; and later, the Scorsese Exhibition at ACMI. The Governor received a delegation from Hanoi led by HE Nguyen Duc Chung, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee. In the evening, the Governor and Judge Howard attended a performance of Matilda the Musical at the Princess Theatre.
The Governor received the call of Mr Simon Bloomer, President, and Mr Colin Wardrop, Executive Officer, of Carry On Victoria. In the evening, the Governor and Judge Howard attended an Iftar Dinner at the residence of Br Bayram Aktepe, President of the Islamic Council of Victoria, and Ms Meryem Apek Aktepe.
The Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council. Judge Howard attended the YMCA Victorian Youth Parliament 30th Anniversary Reception at Parliament House.
The Governor received the call of the Hon. Daniel Andrews, Premier of Victoria; and Mr James McKenzie, President of the Victorian Arts Centre Trust.
The Governor and Judge Howard met with Orchestra Victoria following the recording of "The Nutcracker" for ABC Classics in the Ballroom of Government House.
The Governor received the call of Mr Chris Eccles, Secretary, Department of Premier and Cabinet; and welcomed Her Excellency Kate Warner AM, Governor of Tasmania, and Mr Richard Warner to Government House. The Governor and Judge Howard toured the Guide Dogs Victoria premises in Kew; and in the evening participated in the 2016 Vinnies CEO Sleepout.
The Governor hosted a luncheon for National Galley of Victoria visiting dignitaries for the 2016 Melbourne Winter Masterpieces exhibition Degas: A New Vision.
The Governor presided over a swearing in ceremony at Government House and in the evening, accompanied by Judge Howard, attended and delivered the keynote speech at the Victorian Parliament Iftar Dinner.
The Governor and Judge Howard concluded their official visit to Hong Kong and China and departed Hong Kong for Melbourne. In the evening the Governor and Judge Howard attended the Prime Minister's 9th Olympic Dinner 2016.
