Following this, the Governor attended a working lunch on AI and Data Centre Investment hosted by Steven Marshall, President of the American Australian Association.
In Victoria, the Lieutenant-Governor, Professor James Angus AO, representing the Governor, attended the State Funeral Service for Mr Darryn Hinch.
In the morning at Government House, members of the Bentleigh Probus Club visited for a guided tour of the State Apartments and Kitchen Garden.

Following this, the Governor presided over a Ceremonial Welcome Ceremony in honour of official visit of the Honourable Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India, in the presence of the Honourable Anthony Albanese, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Australia.
Then, the Governor received the call of the Honourable Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India.
In the afternoon, the Australia-India Annual Leaders’ Summit was hosted at Government House in the presence of the Honourable Anthony Albanese, Prime Minister of Australia and the Honourable Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India.

The Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, commenced a visit to the Merri-Bek City Council where she met with Cr Nat Abboud, Mayor, and Kate McCaughey, Chief Executive Officer, Merri-Bek City Council, before receiving a briefing from Councillors and being escorted on a tour of the Glenroy Community Hub.
Following this, the Governor visited Pentridge Prison where she met with Gary Singer, Chair, National Trust Australia (Victoria), before touring the Prison.
Then, the Governor visited Holstep Health where she was met by Tassia Michaleas, Chief Executive Officer, and Tass Mousaferiadis, Chair, Holstep Health, before receiving a briefing and a tour of the site, meeting with staff and community members.
Later, the Governor visited BRUDI: Brunswick Design and Innovation where she met with Adam Trevaskus, Co-Founder and Director, Impact Neighbourhoods, before participating in a roundtable discussion prior to being escorted on a tour of the BRUDI building, showcasing Nutromics and Styling Station Melbourne.
Following this, the Governor visited RMIT University Brunswick Campus where she was met by Professor Alec Cameron, Vice Chancellor and President, RMIT University, before being escorted on a tour of the Brunswick Campus, and meeting with staff and students.
Then, the Governor visited Counihan Gallery where she met with Amber Stuart, Unit Manager Arts and Culture, Merri-Bek City Council, before receiving a briefing of the Gallery and art collection and being escorted on a tour of the current exhibitions.

Later, the Governor received the welcome call of Tannous Kabiity, Consul-General of Lebanon for Victoria.
In the evening, the Governor hosted a reception for the 175th anniversary of the Victorian Auditor-General, where she delivered an address to mark the occasion.
