Later, the Governor and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC visited the Altona RSL, and attended the Stand To Ceremony.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council before, with Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, visiting Greenlink Nursery, Box Hill North.
The Governor and Mr Howard received the call of HE Mr Christophe Penot, Ambassador of France and Ms Yukimi Penot, before hosting a dinner in their honour.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC welcomed Peace and Prosperity Kitchen Garden Scarecrow Program participants to Government House.
The Governor then received the call of the Hon. Michael O’Brien MP, Leader of the Opposition.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, attended the 'Big Freeze at the G', prior to watching the Queen's Birthday AFL game between Collingwood and Melbourne.
The Hon. Linda Dessau AC, Governor of Victoria, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC returned to Victoria.
During an Official Visit to Hong Kong, the Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC met with the Hon. Ms Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor GBM, GBS, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
While on an Official Visit to China, the Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC visited Nanjing Museum before travelling to Hong Kong.
While on an Official Visit to China, the Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC toured Niushoushan Cultural Park in Nanjing, Jiangsu before visiting Langyalu Primary School where they met alumni of Victorian schools.
Later they met with Mr Wu Zhenglong, Governor of Jiangsu Province, before attending a dinner hosted by Governor Wu in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Victoria Jiangsu Sister State relationship.
While on an Official Visit to China, the Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC toured Jiangsu Province Hospital before meeting with representatives of the Jiangsu Foreign Affairs Office.
Later, they met with the Jiangsu Science and Technology Department before the Governor was interviewed by Jiangsu Broadcasting.
In the evening the Governor and Mr Howard attended a reception with Austcham and alumni of Victorian universities.
