During a regional visit for the 10th Anniversary of the 2009 Victorian Bushfires, the Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC had a briefing and virtual tour of bushfire impacted areas with City of Casey council officials, before touring Bunjil Place and attending a Civic Reception hosted by the City of Casey.

They watched the Kinglake vs Rivergum District Cricket Match at the Kinglake Memorial Reserve & then attended the Clonbinane Commemorative Dinner.
During a regional visit for the 10 Year Anniversary of the 2009 Victorian Bushfires, the Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC visited the Coroners Court of Victoria and the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine before visiting the City of Whittlesea, where they toured the art exhibition Reflections – looking back, looking forward, at the Whittlesea Civic Centre.
They visited Whittlesea Secondary College and the Whittlesea Community Garden, before attending an afternoon tea at the Whittlesea Community Activity Centre.

During a regional visit for the 10 Year Anniversary of the 2009 Victorian Bushfires, the Governor and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC visited the Nillumbik Renewal Exhibition and Hurstbridge CFA, before visiting Punch Winery in St Andrews.
The Governor and Mr Howard then visited the Blacksmiths’ Tree & Strathewen Community Bushfire Memorial, and toured the Renewal Exhibition at the St Andrews Men’s Shed.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, gave an address at the State Commemoration for the 10th Anniversary of the 2009 Victorian Bushfires.
