Notes on the program of the Governor of Victoria.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC hosted a reception in honour of Mr Ian Riseley OAM, President, Rotary Club International.
Mr Howard led a tour of the State Apartments for students from Maryborough Education Centre.
During a regional tour to Warrnambool and Moyne Shire, the Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC, attended the 42nd Port Fairy Folk Festival.
During a regional tour to Warrnambool and Moyne Shire, the Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC, toured Bamstone, then met with the Port Fairy Coastal Group.
They participated in the Port Fairy Heritage Whaleboat launch and were interviewed by the Hon. Dr Denis Napthine, former Premier of Victoria, on 3YB Warrnambool Radio.

During a regional tour to Warrnambool and Moyne Shire, the Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC was interviewed for ABC Radio by Mr Jeremy Lee and Ms Emilie Blissland.
The Governor and Mr Anthony Howard QC toured the South West Regional Cancer Centre and South West Healthcare and Deakin University Rural Training Hub, before visiting the Warrnambool Art Gallery.
They participated in an International Women's Day Youth Roundtable, before touring the Middle Island Maremma Dogs Project and attending an International Women's Day Civic Reception.
While on a regional tour to Warrnambool and Moyne Shire, the Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC and Mr Anthony Howard QC met with Cr Mick Wolfe and Mr David Maden, Mayor & CEO of Moyne Shire Council.
They then toured Budj Bim National Heritage Landscape and Condah Mission, and visited Shaw River Buffalo Farm and then Southern Ocean Mariculture Abalone Farm, before attending a reception hosted by the Mayor of Moyne Shire.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, before, with Mr Anthony Howard QC, departing on a regional tour to Warrnambool and Moyne Shire. There, they met with Cr Robert Anderson and Mr Bruce Anson, Mayor and CEO of Warrnambool City Council.
The Governor then officially opened the Warrnambool RSL Veterans Support Centre and laid a wreath at the war memorial. The Governor and Mr Howard then took a walking tour of Warrnambool CBD Redevelopment Project.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, met with Peace and Prosperity Kitchen Garden Program participants, before receiving Ms Sipca Alphanya, Consul-General of Indonesia. Mr Howard led a tour of the State Apartments for U3A Hawthorn.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, at the MSO 2018 Season Opening Gala, presented Lady Potter with Honorary Life Membership.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC and Mr Anthony Howard QC met with HE Mrs Menna Rawlings CMG, High Commissioner of the United Kingdom, and the Senior Command of HMS Sutherland.
Later, the Governor received CDRE Greg Yorke CSC, Senior Naval Officer Victoria and then Ms Elisabeth Newman, Ms Freda Kaufman and Ms Janice Latham, President, Vice President and Regional President of the National Council for Women Victoria.
The Governor and Mr Howard then toured the World Mosquito Program at Monash University.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, received Mr John Harnden AM and Mr Andrew Westacott, Chairman and CEO of the Australian Grand Prix.
Mr Anthony Howard QC led a tour of the State Apartments for the NGV Women's Association.
Later, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Howard, officially opened BLOOM! International Women's Day Exhibition for Global Fund for Women, before attending a reception on HMS Sutherland.
