The Governor and Mr Anthony Howard QC visited sustainable small business owners and then future leaders from the Australia-Indonesia Centre, followed by dinner with the Indonesian Australian Business Council.

The Governor and Mr Anthony Howard QC toured the Borobudur Temple Compounds and later departed Yogyakarta for Jakarta.  In the evening, the Governor and Mr Howard attended a dinner hosted by Mr Paul Grigson, Australian Ambassador to Indonesia. They also visited a Monash University/Yogyakarta collaborative scientific research laboratory, working on the elimination of dengue fever.

The Governor and Mr Howard arrived in Yogyakarta and then visited the Prambanan Temple.  Later, the Governor represented Victoria at a Memorandum of Understanding ceremony between the State of Victoria and the Yogyakarta Special Region.  In the evening, the Governor and Mr Howard were guests of honour at a dinner hosted by the Sultan of Yogyakarta.

The Governor and Mr Anthony Howard QC met with Mr Bruce Gosper, Australian High Commissioner to Singapore and also called on HE Mr Tony Tan Keng Yam, President of Singapore. The Governor, accompanied by Mr Howard, addressed a Women in Leadership Business Luncheon, and visited the Trade and Investment Victoria Office in Singapore and the National Gallery of Singapore.

The Governor and Mr Anthony Howard QC laid a wreath to mark the 75th anniversary of the fall of Singapore in World War II, at the Singapore War Memorial, and then toured the Pearl Lam Galleries. They also visited Gardens by the Bay and were later hosted at a dinner at Potato Head, featuring Victorian artist David Bromley.

The Governor and Mr Anthony Howard QC completed the visit to Wellington Shire with a tour of local businesses Dicky Bills and Maffra Cheese followed by a Civic Reception. In the evening they hosted a reception for the Mayor of Busan Mr Suh Byung-Soo and delegation.

The Governor and Mr Anthony Howard QC departed East Gippsland Shire and commenced a tour of Wellington Shire where they met with local Councillors. This was followed by a tour of the Gippsland Art Gallery and a visit to the Port of Sale Civic Centre. The Governor and Mr Howard continued their official visit with a tour of the CAE Sale Military Training Centre and the Royal Flying Doctors. Later, the Governor and Mr Howard attended an afternoon tea to discuss the Five Star Project with the Chairman Mr O'Brien, followed by a tour of the RAAF Base East Sale. Mr Howard, as Patron, also met with Red Cross volunteers in Sale. In the evening, the Governor and Mr Howard attended a dinner hosted by the Mayor and Councillors of the Wellington Shire.

The Governor and Mr Howard continued their visit to East Gippsland Shire including a tour of Patties Foods and a visit to the Krowathunkooloong Keeping Place where they met with local Elders. Later, they toured Fennings Automated Saw Mill and Noweyung where they gave an interview on Yackety Yak radio. They then paid respects at the Bairnsdale Cenotaph and met with volunteers as part of restoration works at St Mary's Catholic Church. In the afternoon, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Howard spoke at Eagle Point Primary School assembly. They also met with local community groups on a local ferry service. In the evening, the Governor and Mr Howard attended a civic reception in Lakes Entrance.

The Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council before hosting a morning tea with participants of the Peace and Prosperity Garden. The Governor departed Government House for an official visit to East Gippsland and Wellington Shires. The Governor met with the Mayor and CEO of East Gippsland Shire and toured the Buchan Caves. In the evening, the Governor attended a dinner hosted the Mayor and Councillors of the East Gippsland Shire. Mr Anthony Howard QC hosted a lunch for participants of the Peace and Prosperity Garden and later, hosted a school tour for Shelford Girls' Grammar Year 10 & 11 Legal Studies students, before departing for East Gippsland and Wellington Shires.
