Notes on the program of the Governor of Victoria.
While on a regional tour of Orbost, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, met with the East Gippsland Shire Council, before touring Orbost Regional Hospital.
The Governor then attended a site visit and briefing in Sarsfield, before returning to Melbourne.
The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, presided over a meeting of the Executive Council before, with Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, hosting a morning tea reception for the Board of the Organs of the Ballarat Goldfields.
Later, the Governor departed on a regional tour to Orbost, where she attended a roundtable dinner with community business leaders.
The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, received the call of the Hon Daniel Andrews MP, Premier of Victoria, before receiving the call of BRIG Matthew Burr, Commander, 4th Brigade, and RSM Brigade Warrant Officer Class One Robert Jericervich.
Mr Anthony Howard AM QC led a tour of the State Apartments for Term 1 Participants of the Peace & Prosperity Kitchen Garden Program, before hosting a lunch with the Mr Elias Lebbos, Chair and CEO of Travellers Aid. Later, Mr Howard led a tour of the State Apartments for Wesley College Community Members.
The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, attended the Commander of the Australian Fleet's 2020 Fleet Reception.
The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, attended an Aboriginal Heritage Walk Tour at the Royal Botanic Gardens, before receiving the call of Commodore Greg Yorke, CSC, RAN, Senior Naval Officer Victoria, Captain Terry Morrison, DSM, RAN, Commanding Officer HMAS Canberra, Commander Brendan O'Hara, RAN, Commanding Officer of HMAS Yarra, Commander Ryan Gaskin, RAN, Commanding Officer HMAS Hobart, and Commander Michael Power, Commanding Officer HMAS Farncomb.
Later, the Governor and Mr Howard attended the AFL State of Origin match at the MCG.

The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, visited Bishopscourt, where they met with Archbishop and Mrs Freier, before receiving the call of His Excellency Mr Ridwan Kamil, Governor of West Java, and Ms Atalia Paratya Kamil.
Later, the Governor and Mr Howard hosted a lunch in honour of His Excellency, before hosting a reception in honour of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup.
