While on an Official Visit to the United States of America, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, met with United States Congressman Joe Courtney, Co-Chair of the Congressional Friends of Australia Caucus.

Later, the Governor and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC met with Mike Gill, Maryland Secretary of Commerce, and attended a roundtable with Maryland-based MedTech companies.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Howard attended a dinner for the Australian American Leadership Dialogue’s 30th anniversary.

While on an Official Visit to the United States of America, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC met with officials from Lockheed Martin and toured the Lockheed Martin Global Vision Center.

The Governor and Mr Howard then attended a Women in Business Luncheon, and later, toured the Planet Word Museum.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Howard attended a welcome reception for the Australian American Leadership Dialogue.

While on an Official Visit to the United States of America, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC met with Patrick Loftus-Hills, President of Monash Global Leaders Network Advisory Committee, and later met with officials from UN Women.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Howard attended a dinner hosted by His Excellency the Honourable Arthur Sinodinos AO, Australian Ambassador to the United States, and Mrs Elizabeth Sinodinos.

While on an Official Visit to the United States of America, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC met with His Excellency the Hon Mitch Fifield, the Australian Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations.

While on an Official Visit to the United States of America, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC met with Jay Levenson, Director of International Programs, MoMA.

Later, the Governor and Mr Howard met with Mark Kaufman, Executive Vice President, Theatre Ventures, Warner Bros. before attending a performance of Beetlejuice.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Howard met with the Hon John Berry, President of the American Australian Association.

While on an Official Visit to the United States of America, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC met with Jane Abramson, Head of Creative Development at the Michael Cassel Group.

Later, the Governor and Mr Howard met with Susanna Pollock, President, and Arana Shaprio, Managing Director of Games for Change.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Howard met with the Hon Nick Greiner AC, Australian Consul General, New York, and Carolyn Fletcher AM, and later, met with Robert Marchetti, Global Executive Vice President of Restaurants and Bars, CultureWorks.

While on an Official Visit to the United States of America, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC met with representatives from Duolingo, in Pittsburgh, and later attended a reception with the Pittsburgh Technology Council.

While on an Official Visit to the United States of America, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, met with Charlie Baker, Governor of Massachusetts.

The Governor and Mr Howard then met with Matthew Teitelbaum, Director of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Howard met with Professor Ian Meredith AM and Victorian Alumni.

While on an Official Visit to the United States of America, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC met with Ms Caroline Edwards PSM, Victorian Commissioner to the Americas.

Later, the Governor and Mr Howard met with representatives from Harvard University, including James Stock, Vice Provost for Climate and Sustainability and Professor David Haig, Chair of the Committee on Australian Studies.

The Governor and Mr Howard then met with Dr Todd Golub, Director of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard University.

The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC departed Melbourne for an Official Visit to the United States of America.
