The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, presided over a meeting of the Executive Council, before receiving the call of Ms Natasha Smith, Australian High Commissioner to Canada before, with Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, receiving the call of Mr Paul Briggs OAM, Executive Director of the Kaiela Institute.

Later, the Governor received the call of His Excellency Dr Michael Pulsh, Ambassador of the European Union.

Mr Howard led a tour of the State Apartments for students from Lilydale High School, before hosting a lunch with Mr Paul Briggs OAM.  Later, Mr Howard hosted an afternoon tea in honour of Professor Miranda Walpert MBE.

Later, the Governor received the call of Ms Phillippa O'Donnell and Ms Vicki Clark OAM, Australian Black and White Stories, and the call of Professor Helen O'Connell, Chair of the Australasian Pelvic Floor Procedure Registry Steering Committee.

The Governor and Mr Howard hosted a reception for the 90th anniversary of the Institute of Public Administration Australia.

The Governor was represented by Mr Joshua Puls MVO, Official Secretary, at the RSL  Service to Commemorate the 74th Anniversary of Victory in the Pacific Day.

The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, received the call of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia, His Grace Bishop Ezekiel of Dervis and His Grace Bishop Iakovos of Miletoupolis.

Later, the Governor and Mr Howard hosted a lunch for the Board of the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria.

The Governor and Mr Howard hosted a lunch with Mr Matt Lowe, Head of Industry, Intelligence and Capture Teams, from the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions.

Later, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Howard, officially opened A Life of Opportunity and Success: Sir Zelman Cowen Centenary Exhibition at the Jewish Museum of Australia.

Later, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Howard, spoke at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne Awards Night, and presented the Excellence in Cinema Award.
