Later, the Governor and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC hosted a reception celebrating the North of Melbourne.
Mr Howard led a tour of the State Apartments for the Maribyrnong College Leadership Group.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, received the Presentation of Address in Reply, before hosting lunch with Mr Jonathan Holloway, Artistic Director of the Melbourne Festival.
The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, hosted a reception for World Yoga Day before, with Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, attending the O'Brien Group Ice Hockey Game between Canada and the USA.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, received the call of his His Excellency Dr Sergio Eduardo Moreira Lima, Ambassador of Brazil, before receiving Mr Steve Kennedy, Australian Electoral Officer and State Manager of Victoria, to return the Writs of the 2019 Senate Election.
While on an official visit to Canberra, Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC met with HE the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia and then HE the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
Later, accompanied by Mr Howard, the Governor addressed Southeast Asian Ambassadors at a lunch hosted by HE the High Commissioner of Malaysia.

The Governor and Mr Howard then departed Victoria for an official visit to Canberra.
