On an official visit to Israel, the Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC visited Hadassah Medical Centre and BioHouse, before meeting with His Excellency Mr Reuven Rivlin, President of Israel, followed by a meeting with Rabbi Yaakov Litzman, Deputy Minister for Health.
They met Mr Yuval Rotem, Director General of the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then Mr Ron Huldai, the Mayor of Tel Aviv-Yafo before attending a Friends of Victoria reception.
On an official visit to Israel, the Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC met the Australian Ambassador to Israel, Mr Chris Cannan, and then Victoria's Commissioner to Europe and Israel, Mr Ken Ryan.
Later, they met Mr Ido Nehushtan, Chairman and Mr Paul Israel, Executive Director, Israel-Australia Chamber of Commerce.
The Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC, travelled to Israel to continue the official visit.
On an official visit to India, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC, met Prof. Amitabh Mattoo, then the Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs, Hardeep Singh Puri and the Secretary for Housing and Urban Development.
They met members of the Steering Committee of the Australia India Youth Dialogue and the Governor addressed the Australia Fest Gala Dinner Official Launch.
The Governor was represented at the National Police Remembrance Day March by FLT LT Christopher Francis.
In Delhi on an official visit to India, the Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC met Australian High Commissioner to India, HE Harinder Sidhu and then Rajyavardhan Singh Rathorne, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Sports and Youth Affairs.
They visited Tech Mahindra and launched the Tennis Australia Road to AO program, before attending a reception with representatives of India’s sports industries.
In Hyderabad on an official visit to India, the Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC, met with Minister KT Rama Rao, Minister for Information Technologies, before visiting IIT Hyderabad.
In Hyperbad on an official visit to India, the Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC, met with the Governor of Telangana before visiting T-Hub and then Cyient Technologies.
In Bengaluru, on an official visit to India, the Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC, visited the Indian Institute of Science, before meeting with the Chief Minister of Karnataka.
They then visited Narayana Health, before meeting Dr Kiran Mazumdar-Shar, Victoria's Business Ambassador and then attending a reception hosted by Dr Mazumdar-Shaw.
In Bengaluru on an official visit to India, the Governor, the Hon. Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard QC met with the Australian Consul General to South India, Ms Susan Grace, then the Chief Minister of Karnataka.
The Governor and Mr Howard hosted a reception for Victorian alumni and then visited Wipro.
