While on an official visit to the United States of America, the Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, met with delegates from the 2023 Minnesota trade mission to Victoria.

Later, the Governor met with Peggy Flanagan, Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota.

Then, the Governor met with University of Minnesota research leadership and toured the Nano Center.

In the afternoon, the Governor visited the Mayo Clinic Innovation Exchange and attended a networking event with Destination Medical Center and affiliated companies.

While on an official visit to the United States of America, the Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, attended a roundtable hosted by Greater Minnesota St Paul Regional Economic Development Partnership.

Later, the Governor visited the Salk Institute.

In the evening, the Governor attended and spoke at a Victoria networking reception for delegates of BIO 2024.

Then, the Governor met with representatives from American Type Culture Collection.

Later, the Governor participated in and delivered a keynote address at an MTPConnect Women in Life Sciences Leadership Forum.

Following this, the Governor toured and met with representatives from Illumina.

In the evening, the Governor attended and spoke at a dinner with representatives from Brandon BioCatalyst.

While on an official visit to the United States of America, the Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, received a briefing from Nigel Warren, Commissioner for Victoria to the Americas.

Then, the Governor attended the grand opening of BioLabs in San Diego.

The Governor attended a VIP and sponsors reception for the Australian Delegation to BIO 2024.

Following this, the Governor attended and spoke at an MTPConnect Global reception hosted by Australia for delegates to BIO 2024.

The Governor met with the Honourable Ed Husic MP, Australia's Minister for Industry and Science. 

The Governor met with Tanya Bennett, Australia’s Consul-General to Los Angeles.

The Governor then met with Kevin Anderson, Secretary, Maryland Department of Commerce.

This morning the Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, departed on official travel to the United States of America.

In the evening, the Governor attended and spoke at a BIO 2024 Victorian delegation welcome reception.

The Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, received the call of Professor Brendan Crabb AC, Director and CEO, Burnet Institute.

Then, the Governor hosted the first session of the Understanding Victoria Discussion Series.

In the afternoon, the Governor hosted a higher education roundtable to discuss opportunities for Victoria’s tertiary education sector.
