While on an Official Visit to the United Arab Emirates, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, met with Her Excellency Jameela al Muhairi, Minister of State for Public Education (K-12), before attending a lunch with Her Excellency Ms Heidi Venamore PSM, Australian Ambassador to the UAE.
In the afternoon, the Governor visit the Louvre Abu Dhabi, before visiting the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
While on an Official Visit to the United Arab Emirates, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, visited the Victorian International School in Sharjah, before meeting with His Highness Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah.
Later, the Governor toured the Mleiha Archaeological Centre, before visiting the Victorian Trade and Investment Office in Dubai.
While on an Official Visit to the United Arab Emirates, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, met with Her Excellency Shamsa Saleh, CEO of the Dubai Women Establishment, and Secretary-General of the UAE Gender Balance Council, before hosting a Victorian Trade and Investment Lunch.
In the afternoon, the Governor attended a reception for Victorian Alumni in the region, before being interviewed by Expo TV.
While on an Official Visit to the United Arab Emirates, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, met with Kelly Matthews, Austrade Trade Commissioner, before meeting with Her Excellency Sarah bint Yousef Al Amiri, UAE Minister of State for Advanced Technology and Chairwoman of the UAE Space Agency.
Later, the Governor toured the Museum of the Future, before she marked International Women's Day by attending a lunch with female leaders from the region.
In the afternoon, the Governor toured the Women's Pavilion, before meeting with Sir Timothy Clark KBE, President of Emirates Airlines.
In the evening, the Governor hosted a dinner for Victorian business leaders in the region.
While on an Official Visit to the United Arab Emirates, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, met with Her Excellency Ms Heidi Venamore PSM, Australian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, before touring the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.
Later, the Governor witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between mRNA Victoria and the Abu Dhabi Department of Health. before touring the Italy Pavilion, and the Singapore Pavilion and Pavilion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In the afternoon, the Governor toured the France Pavilion, before receiving a tour of the Australian Pavilion by Mr Justin McGowan, Australian Commissioner to Expo.
In the evening, the Governor attended and spoke at a reception for Women in Sport.
While on an Official Visit to the United Arab Emirates the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, received a briefing from Mr Kassem Younes, General Manager of the Victorian Government Trade and Investment Office, for the Middle East, Africa and Turkey.
Later, the Governor met with Mr Ian Halliday, Australian Consul-General to the United Arab Emirates, and Victorian Trade Commissioner.
