Later, the Governor received the call of His Excellency Mr Nguyen Tat Thanh, Ambassador of Vietnam.

In the evening, the Governor, with Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, hosted a dinner to mark the visit to Victoria of Dame Louise Martin DBE, President of the Commonwealth Games Federation.

In the afternoon, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, conducted a swearing-in ceremony for Justice Cameron Macaulay and Justice Andrea Josephine Tsalamandris as Judges of the Supreme Court of Victoria. 

In the evening,the Governor and Mr Howard hosted a reception for winners of the inaugural Governor of Victoria Startup Awards.

The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, presided over a meeting of the Executive Council, before receiving the call of Mr Kwok Fook Seng, High Commissioner of Singapore, and Mrs Pearl Kwok.

Later, the Governor received the call of Brad Rowse, Chief Executive Officer of Melbourne City Football Club, before, with Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, hosting a reception for the participants of the 2022 AmCham Global Leadership Academy.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Howard hosted a welcome dinner for Jaime Martin, Chief Conductor of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, received the call of Lord Ian Botham Kt OBE, Trade Envoy of the United Kingdom, Lady Kathryn Botham, and Steph Lysaght, British Consul-General.

Later, the Governor received the call of Her Excellency Dr Nariman Mohd Sharif Abdullah AlMulla, Consul-General of the United Arab Emirates.

In the evening, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, attended a dinner held by His Excellency Mr Shingo Yamagami, Ambassador of Japan, and Mrs Yamagami, at the home of Mr Junji Shimada, Consul-General of Japan, and Mrs Shimada.
