While on an Official Visit to the United Kingdom, the Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, and Professor Glyn Davis AC, visited the Go-Ahead Group at King’s Cross Railway Station, where they participated in a train ride to observe the operation of new digital signalling technology. 

Following this, the Governor and Professor Davis met with John-Arne Røttingen, CEO, Wellcome Trust. 

Later, the Governor attended a dinner at Mansion House hosted by Sir Charles Bowman, 690th Lord Mayor of London, and Lady Bowman.  

In the morning at Government House, students from Peninsula Grammar visited for a guided tour of the State Apartments and Kitchen Garden.

While on an Official Visit to the United Kingdom, the Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, and Professor Glyn Davis AC, received a briefing from His Excellency the Honourable Stephen Smith, High Commissioner for Australia to the United Kingdom. 

Following this, the Governor visited the King’s Cross development precinct, where they were escorted on a tour and received a briefing from representatives from AustralianSuper.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Professor Davis met with The Right Honourable the Lord Spellar PC, United Kingdom Trade Envoy to Australia. 

Later, the Governor and Professor Davis visited the Spitalfields project site, where they met with Dominic Richards OAM, Co-founder and Chair, Our Place and Chair, The King’s Foundation Australia, before receiving a briefing on the two developments delivered by the Kings Foundation – Spitalfields, London and Poundbury, Dorset.

In the evening, the Governor and Professor Davis attended a defence industry roundtable dinner hosted by the High Commissioner for Australia to the United Kingdom at Stoke Lodge, the official residence of the Australian High Commissioner to the UK.

The Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, accompanied by Professor Glyn Davis AC, concluded her Official Visit to Denmark and departed on an Official Visit to the United Kingdom. 

Upon arrival in Manchester, the Governor and Professor Davis attended a working lunch with government, education and industry stakeholders from the greater Manchester region. 

Then, the Governor and Professor Davis met with The Right Honourable Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester. 

Later, the Governor and Professor Davis travelled to Derby where they visited the Rolls Royce Skills Academy.

While on an Official Visit to Denmark, the Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, and Professor Glyn Davis AC, met with representatives from Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners. 

Following this, the Governor and Professor Davis attended a roundtable lunch hosted by Her Excellency Kerin Ayyalaraju, Ambassador of Australia to Denmark, with representatives from Danish businesses and research stakeholders at the Australian Ambassador’s Residence in Copenhagen.

In the evening, on the occasion of the start of National Reconciliation Week, the Governor and Professor Davis attended a performance by Deborah Cheetham Fraillon AO, Artistic Director, Short Black Opera in Copenhagen.

In Victoria, the Lieutenant-Governor, Professor James Angus AO, provided Royal Assent before presiding at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the morning at Government House, participants from Roxburgh Park and Roxburgh Rise Community Hubs visited for the Kitchen Garden Program.

While on an Official Visit to Denmark, the Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, and Professor Glyn Davis AC,  visited the Novo Nordisk Foundation. 

Then, the Governor and Professor Davis met with senior representatives from European Energy. 

In the afternoon, the Governor was received in audience by Her Majesty Queen Mary of Denmark at Amalienborg Palace, Copenhagen. 

Later, the Governor and Professor Davis visited Ørsted.

In the morning at Government House, members of City of Monash Aged Care visited for a guided tour of the State Apartments and Kitchen Garden.

The Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, and Professor Glyn Davis AC, met with Gönül Serbest, Commissioner for Victoria to Europe.

The Governor, accompanied by Professor Davis, concluded her Official Visit to Belgium and departed on an Official Visit to Denmark.

Upon arrival in Denmark, the Governor and Professor Davis received a briefing from Her Excellency Kerin Ayyalaraju, Ambassador of Australia to Denmark, and Tim Dillon, Agent-General to the UK and Victoria’s Commissioner to Europe (Ireland, The Nordics and Eastern Europe) and Israel.

In the evening, the Governor and Professor Davis attended a dinner with Professor Melissa Little AC, Professor and CEO, Novo Nordisk Foundation Centre for Stem Cell Medicine.

While on an Official Visit to Belgium, the Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, and Professor Glyn Davis AC, accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid, Princess of Belgium, visited the Greenhouses of the Royal Palace of Laeken.

Following the visit, the Governor and Professor Davis held an audience with HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium. 
 
Then, the Governor and Professor Davis departed for Telix Pharmaceuticals where they received a briefing on their operations in Victoria and toured the facilities. 
 
In the evening, the Governor and Professor Davis attended a reception hosted by His Excellency General (Rtd) Angus Campbell AO, Ambassador of Australia to Belgium, the EU, NATO and Luxembourg at the Ambassador’s residence, where the Governor addressed an audience of business stakeholders, alumni, and members of the Australian and Victorian community in Belgium.

In Victoria, Captain Rupert Vicary represented the Governor at the State Memorial Service for The Honourable Dr Race Mathews.

In the morning at Government House, members of the public visited for a guided tour of the State Apartments and Kitchen Garden.

In the morning, the Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, accompanied by Professor Glyn Davis AC, visited the 13th century Cathedral of Notre-Dame d'Amiens, France's largest cathedral, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site where they viewed commemorative monuments in tribute to Australian forces from WWI. 

Later, the Governor and Professor Davis arrived in Belgium, where they were received by His Excellency General (Rtd) Angus Campbell AO, Ambassador of Australia to Belgium, the EU, NATO and Luxembourg. 

The Governor received a briefing from the Ambassador, before visiting and touring the Passchendaele Memorial Museum.
 
Continuing her tour of the Western Front, the Governor, accompanied by Professor Davis, arrived in Ypres where they were met by Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid of Belgium, Mr Carl Decaluwe, Governor of West Flanders, and Ms Kathrine Desomer, Mayor of Ypres. 

The Governor, Professor Davis,  with HRH Princess Astrid and members of the Official Party arrived at the Menin Gate, where they toured the memorial and received a briefing from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. 

Later, the Governor, accompanied by Professor Davis attended dinner with HRH Princess Astrid, the Governor of West Flanders and the Mayor of Ypres. 
 
In the evening, the Governor, Professor Davis and HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium attended the Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate. The Governor and HRH Princess Astrid laid wreaths on behalf of the people of Victoria and Belgium, with the Governor reciting The Ode. 

Following the ceremony, the Governor and Princess Astrid met with visitors from Australia and Belgium, before departing for Brussels.

While on an Official Visit to France, the Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, accompanied by Professor Glyn Davis AC, attended a breakfast at the French Senate hosted by Senator Florence Blatrix-Contat, President, and members of the France-Australia Friendship Group.

Then, the Governor and Professor Davis visited the Australian National Memorial and the Sir John Monash Centre in Villers Bretonneux, where they met with Ben Daetwyler, Director, Sir John Monash Centre.

The Governor and Professor toured the centre and lunched with staff and volunteers.

The Governor laid a wreath on behalf of the people of Victoria at the Australian National Memorial.

Later, the Governor and Professor Davis visited the Victoria School in Villers-Bretonneux, where they met with the Mayor and School President.

The Governor toured the school and the Franco-Australian Museum.

In the morning at Government House, members of EPA Victoria visited for a guided tour of the State Apartments and Kitchen Garden.

In the afternoon, students from Divrei Emineh School visited for a guided tour of the State Apartments and Kitchen Garden.

While on an Official Visit to France, the Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, and Professor Glyn Davis AC, met with Mathias Cormann, Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development.

Following this, the Governor and Professor Davis met with Valérie Pécresse, President of the Region Île-de-France.

Then, the Governor and Professor Davis visited the Grand Paris Express project, where they received a briefing and observed tunnelling and new station installation works as part of the expansion of the Paris Metro.

In the evening, the Governor, accompanied by Professor Davis, was guest of honour at a ‘Friends of Victoria’ event at the Australian Embassy, hosted by Lynette Wood, Ambassador of Australia to France, where the Governor addressed an audience of business stakeholders, alumni, and members of the Australian and Victorian community in Paris.

In Victoria, the Lieutenant-Governor, Professor James Angus AO, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the morning at Government House, participants from Roxburgh Park and Roxburgh Rise Community Hubs visited for the Kitchen Garden Program.
