While on an Official Visit to Vietnam, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, attended a meeting with the Auscham Vietnam Board, before meeting with Dr Nguyen Thanh Hung, Chair, and Madame Thao, Deputy Chair, of Sovico Holdings.
Later, the Governor and Mr Howard visited Soul Music and Performing Arts Academy, before meeting with Mr Nguyen Thanh Phong, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh People's Committee.
The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, travelled from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, where they met with Ms Julianne Cowley, Australian Consul-General to Ho Chi Minh City, before visiting the RMIT South Saigon Campus.
Later, they attended a dinner attended by Victorian alumni.
While on an Official Visit to Vietnam, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, attended a heritage tour of the Metropole Hotel, before visiting Know One Teach One.
Later, the Governor met with Her Excellency Madame Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, Vice President of Vietnam, before, with Mr Howard, attending a dinner with Mr Pham Nhat Vuong, Founder and Chairperson of Vingroup.
While on an Official Visit to Vietnam, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, attended a cultural tour to the Mausoleum and the Temple of Literature, before touring F-Ville technology park.
Later, they attended the launch of the Hanoi Campus of Swinburne University and a Women in Tech event, before attending a dinner hosted by Dr Truong Gia Binh, Chairman and Co-Founder of FPT Group.
The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, travelled from Singapore to Vietnam, where they met with Her Excellency Ms Robyn Mudie, Australian Ambassador to Vietnam, before meeting with Mr Nguyen Duc Chung, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee.
Later, the Governor was witness to the signing of an MoU between the Hanoi People's Committee and RMIT University, before, with Mr Howard, attending a dinner hosted by Mr Chung.
The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, departed Melbourne on an Official Visit to Singapore, Vietnam and Indonesia.
Upon arrival in Singapore, the Governor and Mr Howard met with Mr Brett Stephens, Victorian Commissioner for South East Asia.

Later, the Governor received the call of His Excellency Mr Kwok Fook Seng, High Commissioner of Singapore.
