The Governor and Mr Howard then attended a lunch event for alumni of Victorian universities.
Later, the Governor and Mr Howard visited the Vaccine Research Center at the National Institutes of Health.
While on an Official Visit to the United States of America, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC met with representatives from Leidos.
The Governor and Mr Howard then visited the NASA Goddard Space Flight Centre, and met with Boyd Rutherford, Lieutenant Governor of Maryland, and John C Wobensmith, Secretary of State of Maryland.
In the evening, the Governor and Mr Howard attended the Australian American Leadership Dialogue closing event.
While on an Official Visit to the United States of America, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, met with United States Congressman Joe Courtney, Co-Chair of the Congressional Friends of Australia Caucus.
Later, the Governor and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC met with Mike Gill, Maryland Secretary of Commerce, and attended a roundtable with Maryland-based MedTech companies.
In the evening, the Governor and Mr Howard attended a dinner for the Australian American Leadership Dialogue’s 30th anniversary.
