While on a tour of the Surf Coast Shire, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, tour the National Surfing Museum, before visiting Murnong Farm.
The Governor and Mr Howard then visited the Anglesea Surf Lifesaving Club, before touring the former Alcoa site.
Later, they lunched at the Angelsea Hotel, before visiting the Ashmore Creative Arts Hub.
The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, departed Government House for a regional visit to the Surf Coast Shire.
While visiting the Surf Coast Shire, the Governor and Mr Howard visited the Australian Wool Museum, before laying a wreath at the Point Danger ANZAC War Memorial. Later, the Governor and Mr Howard received a briefing by the Surf Coast Shire Council, and a briefing on the CORA sports precinct development, before attending a roundtable with community members and representatives of local organisations.
Later, the Governor and Mr Howard visited local surf shops, and received a briefing on the surf industry.
The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, presided over a meeting of the Executive Council, before receiving the initial call of His Excellency, Mr Babar Amin, High Commissioner of Pakistan, and Mrs Uzma Babar.
Later, the Governor, with Mr Anthony Howard AM QC, hosted a lunch for the Koorie Heritage Trust Board, before the Governor hosted a swearing-in ceremony for the Hon. Maree Kennedy and the Hon. Michael Osborne QC.
